My name is Lorraine Jackson, and I am a qualified reiki practitioner and equine healer.
Through Avalon Techniques I offer a range of reiki and energy healing services, with a main focus on animals and their human guardians.
In particular, I assist horses and companion animals such as cats and dogs, to help
re-balance their energy to regain confidence, alleviate behavioural issues, and release psychological and emotional blocks such as stress and anxiety.
My techniques are gentle, passive, calm and relaxing. Sessions can be undertaken in your home or at most locations across the UAE or even by distance.
Gentle healing is the essence of my services and this is drawn from my connection to Glastonbury in the UK, where I am from. The legendary town of Glastonbury sits within the mystical region of Avalon and has been recognised as a spiritual centre since the megalithic era. Avalon is renowned for its rich history, sacred sites and the gentle healing and revitalising energies that are experienced by many there.

My passion is helping the body heal itself
After many years of working in the equine industry as a rider, trainer and coach, I was drawn to the desire to learn 'Energy Healing’ to be able to give back to these beautiful animals that work so hard for us.
Following training in the UK and UAE, I am a certified Reiki Master and I hold an Equine Healing Diploma, have become a member of the Healing Animals Organisation and have trained in the 'Let Animals Lead®' method of Animal Reiki created by Kathleen Prasad. I also adhere to and have completed training in the Animal Reiki Code of Ethics, and in 2020 my training continues in equine massage in the UK.
I have also undertaken training in Colour Therapy.
I am now happy to be able to offer ‘Energy Healing’ to all people and all animals.

Equine Reiki
Horses are sensitive animals, they are usually very receptive to energy healing and often become a willing participant.
Does your horse show signs of stress or difficulty during work, on the yard or when travelling? Or display regular signs of unexplained health or lameness issues?
Reiki can help alleviate physical discomfort or behaviour and emotional blocks such as anxiety.
Companion Animal Reiki
Companion animals such as dogs and cats can be very responsive to energy from humans.
Energy healing is a wonderful way for guardians to provide reassurance of safety and protection to dogs and cats who may be experiencing stress.
Reiki can also help ground animals who may be agitated or demonstrating highly-strung or destructive behaviour.
Guardian Reiki
I offer reiki for guardians in my healing room based in Arabian Ranches, Dubai or in the comfort of you own home.
The relaxing sessions are restorative and rejuvenating.
Afterwards you will feel like you have had a refreshing nap even though you were aware of everything that happened.
